Payment

You must be 18 years of age to shop at Flettede Fugle, and be in possession of a valid payment card. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have the consent of your parents/guardian, or someone else who can take legal responsibility for the purchase, and be the holder of a valid payment card.

Payment in the webshop can be made using the payment methods listed at the bottom of the page.

After a completed purchase, they will receive a confirmation by email.

We reserve the right to change prices without notice, but not after a deal has been concluded. Should a price error or typing error occur, we can cancel the order if the customer was in bad faith about the price. If the item is sold out, the customer will be contacted as soon as possible with a solution.

VAT is not refunded when shipping to countries outside the EU. The prices for countries outside the EU are higher, as additional costs are imposed when shipping goods outside the EU. Local taxes and fees are not covered by Flettede Fugle.

 

Delivery

Delivery of parcels in Denmark is by GLS, DHL, Postnord etc., and the delivery time must be expected to be 5 - 7 working days. We endeavor to ship your order as quickly as possible.

We always try to send the goods with the cheapest shipping option. This means that some shipments are sent as letters. In such cases, a "track and trace" number will not be available. If there is a "track and trace" number on your shipment, you will receive this by mail.

Shipments to countries other than Denmark will take place with GLS, DHL, Postnord etc. Delivery time will depend on the individual country.

 

Delivery in case of lack of product in stock

In the event that a purchased item is sold out, we will contact you as soon as possible and agree whether you want to wait for it to arrive in stock or whether you want a refund for the purchase.

 

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of cancellation when shopping at Flettede Fugle. You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your item that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notification must be made by email. See the email link below or under the contact menu item. You cannot regret it by simply refusing to receive your item, without notifying us at the same time.

Return of the goods is paid by the buyer. Packages sent on cash on delivery are not accepted. If you wish to return an item, you must complete this standard form and send it by mail to info[at]flettedefugle.dk .

Purchase of digital products

With digital products, you waive your normal 14-day right of withdrawal for remote purchases. After payment, you will receive direct links to download your digital products.

Copying of digital products is not permitted. Resale or redistribution to third parties is also a breach of the agreement.

 

Condition of the item upon return

The buyer is liable for the deterioration of the value of the goods, which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and the way the goods work. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store. You must not put the item into actual use.

If the item has been tried on in addition to what is described above, the item is considered used. This means that upon canceling the purchase, only part or none of the purchase amount will be returned, depending on the commercial value of the item.

In the case of a do-it-yourself bird from our range, a bunch of paper parts or paper parts that have been attempted to be plaited will be a significant deterioration in the value of the product and will be considered as having been used.

 

The product's packaging

Lack of original packaging may constitute a reduction in value. To be sure of being able to receive all the money back, it is recommended that the item is returned in its original packaging and that the item is not opened.

You must pay for the shipping of the returned item yourself, and you are responsible for the item until we receive it. Therefore pack the item securely and save the postal receipt and Track & Trace number.

We do not accept return packages per cash on delivery or packages that are not delivered.

If the item is in such a condition that it can be resold, you will be refunded your purchase. In that case, we will refund the purchase price (but not the cost of shipping or return shipping) with the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.

 

Right of complaint

There is a 2-year right to complain in accordance with the Purchase Act. Our right of complaint applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing.

If a product is defective, you can be offered to have the product repaired, have the product exchanged, get a discount on the price or get the money back. This depends on the individual situation, where it will be assessed what kind of compensation is involved.

The right of complaint can only be used if the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product. There are e.g. no complaints on birds you braid yourself, which break while you braid them, unless it can be demonstrated that the parts were cut incorrectly during production or similar defects.

In the case of finished braided birds etc. products that are to be characterized as handicrafts, there may be scratches, curled edges, fold marks and other similar signs that the product is made by hand. Such terms may appear as all products are unique. These are not conditions that mean that the right of complaint can be used. If, however, there are believed to be unnecessary marks that definitely detract from the product, the customer must contact us as soon as possible after receiving the goods and document the defects with sufficient photos, as well as send a copy of the receipt for the purchase.
